Consultant

For over 15 years I have designed and delivered research for public and private sector clients across a wide range of industries including social change, health, sport, major events and tourism; delivering data-driven recommendations to guide award-winning campaigns, strategies and product development.

I arrived in New Zealand in 2007 on a PhD scholarship with AUT to work as the biomechanist for the Rowing NZ High Performance Programme. Over the four years that followed, I provided quantitative technique analysis making recommendations for improved performance in many of New Zealand’s World Championship and Olympic-medal-winning crews.

After my time at Rowing NZ, I moved to Auckland as a consultant – bringing my passion for generating data-driven insights that make decisions easy for my clients. I started as an economic consultant working in the tourism and major event industry, and then later used research to guide and evaluate health programmes and social change initiatives.

As a result, I’m practiced at quickly getting familiar with the specific needs of different businesses and organisations in order to target the right insights to help clients improve, grow, and communicate their value to others.

I love working with clients who are passionate about their work and who want to use research to get answers to problems that really matter to them. I take pride in turning complex needs and ambitious ideas into solid research that delivers actionable insights and recommendations.

And of course, I’ve always loved sport – from dragging my mum to show-jumping competitions each weekend, never missing a hockey or netball game at school, and rowing for my university. I now run for fun and sanity and enjoy supporting my two kids on their own sporting adventures.
